Actress Cameron Diaz opened up about her views on motherhood and her first nude scene in an upcoming movie, during an interview with Esquire magazine.

The 41-year-old star, who will feature on the cover of the magazine’s August issue, reportedly said that motherhood does not interest her because it is "much more work to have children,” adding that she has never been drawn to “being a mother.”

"To have lives besides your own that you are responsible for -- I didn't take that on. That did make things easier for me. A baby -- that's all day, every day for 18 years. Not having a baby might really make things easier, but that doesn't make it an easy decision," Diaz, who is still unmarried, reportedly said.

Diaz, who is currently dating Benji Madden, guitarist and co-founder of the band Good Charlotte, reportedly said that it did not bother her that she is in her 40s and that she believes it is the best age.

"That's when a woman knows how to work things, or she doesn't care about that anymore. You just stop being afraid. You don't worry about what men think. You just don't worry that time registers anything awful," Diaz reportedly said.

The “Charlie’s Angels” star also reportedly spoke about her movie “Sex Tape” with Jason Segel, in which Diaz will be seen in a nude scene.

"It's a first for me. But Jason gets naked, too. It's just a part of the role. So I did it. I mean you see everything," Diaz reportedly said about the comedy, which is scheduled for a July 18 release.
