“Captain America: Civil War” is currently under production, and various reports are circulating around in regard to the plot of the film.

[Warning: Potential Spoiler Ahead]

Heroic Hollywood is reporting that Black Panther/T’Challa’s father T’Chaka will be killed in “Captain America: Civil War.” “Expect T'Chaka to be toe-tagged next year in the film,” reads the report. It does not state why T’Chaka will be killed or by whom.

In the Marvel comics, Ulysses Klaw, an assassin, kills T’Chaka. He is hired to kill him at the Bilderberg conference in case the latter refuses to share the resources of Wakanda, including vibranium.

There is also no official confirmation on the alleged death of T’Chaka in “Captain America: Civil War.” Marvel president Kevin Feige has said in his previous interview to Birth Movies Death that T’Challa will suit up as Black Panther after T’Chaka grows old.

“It is a role that he is still in the beginning phases of taking on; it’s a mantle he is only beginning to take on because his father is older,” he said.

He added that Black Panther will be shown as a third party in “Captain America: Civil War.” “We needed fresh eyes who wasn’t embedded with the Avengers and who has a very different point of view than either Tony or Steve,” he said.

The role of Black Panther is being played by Chadwick Boseman. He is reportedly reading comic books to know about his character. He is also taking inspiration from science and history, reported MTV.

“Captain America; Civil War” opens May 6, 2016. It will see the formation of two groups of Avengers under government pressure. It also stars Chris Evans, Robert Downey Jr., Scarlett Johansson, Sebastian Stan, Anthony Mackie, Paul Bettany, Jeremy Renner, Don Cheadle, Elizabeth Olsen and Paul Rudd.
