Delevingne had her reasons for keeping their relationship private for a while. She was reportedly hesitant because she’s never been in a relationship where things were so public. She reportedly considered their relationship as something that’s sacred.

The model went official with her relationship with the American actress during The Trevor Project’s TrevorLIVE Gala in New York in June. Delevingne openly thanked Benson during her speech at the event.

Delevingne did not shy away from admitting how Benson helped her love herself when she needed it most. Her girlfriend was also the one who reportedly showed her what real love was and taught her how to accept it.

Their fans were very welcoming, accepting and thrilled about the relationship. Over time, love and support continuously filled their lives as a couple. Yes, they live in a world where relationships don’t seem to last but to them, what they have is real and their fans and loved ones see and feel that.

Then, enter the break-up tweet.

Can you imagine what their fans and loved ones felt when they saw Delevingne’s alleged tweet?

On Monday night, the “Carnival Row” actress tweeted a very concise and straight to the point post that she and the “Pretty Little Liars” alum broke up. According to the report of Entertainment Tonight, the post was only up for less than 20 minutes before it was eventually removed from Delevingne’s Twitter account.

Not long after, E! News reported about Delevingne’s Twitter followers noticing some suspicious activities on the model’s official social media account. A few screenshots were reportedly taken by social media users of the model’s Twitter account sharing free iPhone giveaways and creating new Instagram accounts. These posts were reportedly removed from the account too.

In so far as their social media accounts are concerned, they’re clear. Considering the circumstances at hand, many were doubtful that Delevingne was the one who posted the tweet. Instead, it’s been opined by the public that the model’s Twitter account could’ve been hacked.

At this point, there are no official statements coming from Delevingne nor Benson. Neither of them updated their social accounts with details of this incident, Elle reported.
