Cardi B and Migos member Offset have reportedly broken up. The split was said to have turned violent when the former “Love & Hip Hop: New York” star incited some people to attack the hip-hop group.

A report from MediaTakeOut claimed that a member of Migos was jumped on Sunday night because of group member Offset’s breakup with female MC Cardi B. It was not specified if the one who got in trouble was Offset himself. The report simply stated that the attack was carried out by people connected to Cardi B. The incident reportedly happened at Space Ibiza, specifically during the after-party following the Summer Jam concert.

The report mentioned that the split between the celebrity couple was due to money problems. MediaTakeOut also noted that the attack involved a group hitting someone with bottles. The tabloid has yet to back up the explosive news with concrete evidence, but it claims that it is in the process of getting the video footage of the incident.

While the news about the alleged breakup is getting attention from fans of the couple, some have called out the notorious gossip site for making stuff up. Apparently, fans are insisting that there is no truth in the report, since Offset and Cardi B were spotted together on Monday. Photos of the two were even published on Instagram by trending entertainment news site The Shade Room.

Interestingly, the rumored split can also be traced to Hip Hop Overload’s story, titled “Cardi B Dumps Her Boo Offset From Migos Because He Wanted $250,000 For His Feature,” which was published few days ago. According to the story, the misunderstanding between the couple started when Offset demanded $250,000 for the feature, which Cardi B initially thought was for free. Cardi B reportedly ended the romance after receiving an invoice for the said amount from Offset and his lawyer.

A day after the story was published on June 7, Offset reacted to it online. He simply wrote (as quoted by BET): “This not true! Funny on so many clevels [though]! An Offset verse is $250K?”

Meanwhile, Cardi B has yet to comment on all the recent rumors surrounding her and her relationship with the Migos member.
