Filming has finally begun for “Carnival Row” Season 2. The cast members recently appeared in a behind-the-scenes video and shared their excitement, and they also teased details about what the fans can look forward to on the show.

Lead stars Cara Delevingne and Orlando Bloom are reprising their roles as Vignette Stonemoss and Rycroft Philostrate respectively. They will be joined by Agreus Astrayon star David Gyasi and Imogen Spurnrose actress Tamzin Merchant.

The actors teased that they will are introducing new characters and creatures on the show. Gyasi said that the new things in the TV series are both “exciting and terrifying.”

According to Collider, the video suggests that there won’t be a time jump in “Carnival Row” Season 2. Bloom has teased that his character will be exploring what it means to be a half-blood, and the show may explore some of his backstory.

Although the actors have teased that there will be some new characters that will be introduced on the show, details about who these characters will be are yet to be revealed. Casting announcements that are expected in the coming weeks may give the fans some hints about what to expect.

Scriptwriter Marc Guggenheim previously teased that the number of creatures will be doubled on the show this time around. There will be sub-species and variations within the different races of the creatures, which will make the second installment bigger in terms of the scale of production.

A release date for “Carnival Row” Season 2 hasn’t been announced yet. The producers may announce the premiere details after the production wraps.
