Chicago PMI rose unexpectedly in November
Business activity in Chicago area rose unexpectedly in November reaching the highest level since April 2005.
The purchasing managers’ index (PMI) of Chicago increased to a reading of 62.50 in November on seasonally adjusted basis, the Institute for Supply Management said on Tuesday.
The market had expected the Chicago PMI to decrease to 59.80 in November.
