Chrissy Teigen posted a photo on Instagram showing off a black robe and slippers, but the robe managed to slip open just a little bit. While the image is still safe for work, the celebrity model decided to get ahead of any claims there was a wardrobe malfunction.

"it’s not a nip. my nipples are unfortunately much lower," Teigan joked in the post.

The image shows the model in said black robe and slippers with a towel around her head, sitting on a red couch in a fancy room. The 34-year-old icon appears to be modeling and unaware that her robe is slightly open. While nothing of her body is revealed, the joke lightheartedly tries to dispel any misunderstandings the image could create.

Teigen, with the help of her husband John Legend, has hilariously dodged wardrobe malfunctions in the past, as documented by USA Today. The images from 3 years ago show the celebrity power couple walking the red carpet at the American Music Awards when Teigen’s black Yousef Akbar dress began to come open. Legend came to the rescue when the golden safety pins weren’t enough and secured it just in time for a series of photos to be taken. The result reveals unprepared and surprised facial expressions from the two of them.

Some Twitter users criticized her for being “unladylike,” to which Teigen responded, "I am pretty sure you could clearly see I’m a lady.”

She posted to Instagram, thanking a few people while apologizing to anyone who was “mentally or physically” harmed by the incident.
