Chrissy Teigen and John Legend had more than just music on the brain during the 2016 Grammys. While walking the red carpet for the 58th annual ceremony at the Staples Center in Los Angeles Monday night the soon-to-be parents dished about their daughter.

After winning an award ahead of the show, Legend called his unborn child “the best one of all” during an interview with CBS. When Legend’s wife, model Chrissy Teigen, remarked that they don’t know their daughter's personality yet, Legend joked, “maybe it’s a punishment.”

While Teigen, 30, and Legend, 37, are excited to be having their first child, the couple admitted they have yet to set up a nursery or decide on a name for their daughter. “We are not ready. Our house is still being renovated,” Legend said.

“We’re mentally ready but physically, no,” Teigen said. “At least, I’m not!”

Teigen announced her pregnancy in October 2015. She revealed on Instagram in December that she and Legend are expecting a daughter. “A couple minutes after this shoot, John and I learned we were having our little baby girl!” she captioned a shot of her Vogue Thailand cover photo.

Legend won a Grammy for Best Song Written for Visual Media Monday night alongside Common for “Glory." He was also nominated for Best Rap/Sung Collaboration for “One Man Can Changed the World” featuring Big Sean and Kanye West, Best Rap Song for "Glory" and Best Compilation Soundtrack for Visual Media for “Glory.”
