Ahead of Tuesday night's College Football Playoff Selection Committee's rankings announcement, there remains a clear favorite to win the title.

To little surprise, it's the Alabama Crimson Tide.

Oddsmakers have Alabama as the overwhelming favorite at 6/5 odds after CFP No. 1 Georgia was thumped on Saturday by Auburn, 40-17. Alabama has been ranked No. 1 in the Associated Press poll from the preseason and has not surrendered its top ranking.

Nick Saban's squad survived a scare in Week 11, outlasting Mississippi State in Starkville, 31-24. It marked just the second time all season in which an opponent came within one score of the Tide. Alabama still has Mercer, No. 10 Auburn and the SEC Championship remaining on the schedule.

The Oklahoma Sooners are a distant second (4/1). The Sooners' lone defeat came at home against Iowa State on Oct. 7.

The ACC is well represented with the Clemson Tigers (5/1) owning the third-best odds and followed closely behind by the Miami Hurricanes (7/1). The Hurricanes are coming off a comprehensive victory over Notre Dame, 41-8. The Fighting Irish are now a major longshot at 100/1.

The two Big Ten leaders are also long shots. Ohio State Buckeyes are listed at 20/1, while the Michigan Wolverines are listed at 125/1. On Saturday, Ohio State will face Illinois, while Michigan will be on the road against No. 8 Wisconsin. Michigan will host Ohio State on Nov. 25.
