Another cookie recall has been issued, this time by Southeastern Grocers, the parent company of BI-LO, Winn Dixie, Fresco y Más, and Harveys Supermarkets stores. The recall follows an earlier recall made by Bimbo Bakeries in August for Entenmann’s cookies because they were contaminated with blue plastic.

The recall from Southeastern Grocers involves 18-count cookies sold in the bakery departments of BI-LO, Winn Dixie, Fresco y Más, and Harveys Supermarkets stores because they may contain an undeclared peanut allergen that was not included on the label.

The affected cookies include 18-count variety pack cookies that contain peanut butter cookies with an SLU code of 5079 18 and 18-count peanut butter cookies with an SLU code of 69886. The recalled cookies were sold at all Southern Grocers stores. They have a shelf life of five days.

Consumers that have purchased the cookies should throw them away or return them to any store for a full refund.

Questions about the recall can be directed to Southeastern Grocers Customer Call Center at 1-844-745-0463, Monday through Friday from 8 a.m. to 7 p.m. ET and Saturday from 8 a.m. to 4 p.m. ET.
