KEY POINTS

  • Officers within the department's evening shift allegedly had sex with each other while on duty
  • Almost 400 pages of documents related to the sexual misconduct were provided by the City of La Vergne
  • Officer Maegan Hall initially lied about the sex scandal because she didn't want to disappoint her police chief

New details have emerged about the sexual misconduct involving La Vergne, Tennessee, police officer Maegan Hall and her fellow cops that has made national headlines.

Hall and several police officers who admitted to engaging in sexual acts with her were fired earlier this month after an investigation found that cops within the La Vergne Police Department's evening shift were having sex with each other while on duty and on city property. The investigative report also revealed a wild hot tub party as well as the exchange of explicit naked photos between officers.

In transcripts of interviews with investigators provided by the City of La Vergne and obtained by WSMV4, the officers who were fired, suspended or in any way involved shared details about the sex scandal, including a "Girls Gone Wild" party and strip "Uno" games.

Hall, the married cop who was at the center of the investigation and sex scandal, confessed to having sex with officer Larry Holladay. But she claimed she didn't think it had to be reported because they weren't dating, and she wasn't on duty at the time the encounters took place.

Hall also admitted to having oral sex with Sgt. Lewis Powell at one of the La Vergne Police Department's substations.

She said that she had sex with Powell several times and that "his wife just doesn't want to have sex with him," according to the transcripts.

"Me and my husband were kind of on the verge of a divorce, and I just cracked and then it just kind of got out of hand," Hall told human resources after an investigation was launched into the scandal, the transcripts stated.

Hall said that her relationship with Powell became complicated when she attempted to end things with him, claiming that he called her once to say that he drank an entire bottle of Jack Daniel's and wanted to kill himself.

Additionally, Hall said she had a threesome with officer Patrick Magliocco and his wife, according to the transcripts. Hall also had sex with Magliocco several other times.

She also admitted that she sent nude photos to officer Gavin Schoeberl, Magliocco, Powell and Holladay, according to the transcript of her interview. She said she received nude photos from several officers.

During the interview, Hall said she initially lied about the sex scandal because she didn't want to disappoint her police chief, who she claimed supported her through multiple crashes in her patrol vehicle.

"I got stupid," Hall said. "I got desperate, I guess, and guys are guys, and they'll stick their (expletive) in anything."

At one point, she disclosed to investigators she had once "dry fired" a gun at her head, according to the transcript.

Powell repeatedly denied his relationship with Hall but later admitted to having sex with her.

Henry Ty McGowan, another one of the officers who was fired in connection to the sex investigation, disclosed details about a hot tub party on Sgt. Eric Staats' houseboat. He said he was aware of other officers having sex on the job. He denied having sex with Hall but admitted he sent her a nude photo and received nude photographs from her, according to the transcripts.

Hall got "sloppy drunk" during Staats' houseboat party to the point where Staats' partner said she wasn't allowed back, according to the transcripts. Staats said Hall's top came down during the hot tub party, in front of Lt. David Durham, and Staats berated her for it.

Durham said his whole family had been present at the hot tub party, according to the transcript of his interview.

Officer Vielka Brizendine told investigators that she went to a party where strip "Uno" was being played and Hall was present. The incident occurred before she was hired.

Meanwhile, La Vergne Police Chief Burrel "Chip" Davis previously confirmed that the department has enough staff members to cover patrol shifts and is currently working to "rebuild the trust of our citizens and our community."

"This is a difficult situation for our department and for the city, but I want to be clear that the actions of a few do not represent this department as a whole," Davis said in a statement provided to Fox News Digital.

Authorities started the investigation after La Vergne Mayor Jason Cole received a tip that Hall was sleeping with several fellow officers.
