The 2019 NFL schedule was released Wednesday, meaning the betting lines for Week 1 of the upcoming season have also been set. The Dallas Cowboys are among the biggest favorites for their Sept. 8 contest with the New York Giants.

Dallas is laying 7.5 points to New York at home, according to the very early betting odds at OddsShark. The contest is set to kick off at 4:25 p.m. EDT on the first Sunday of the year, and it will be followed by several prime-time games for the Cowboys.

The Cowboys' first prime-time matchup comes in Week 4 when Dallas visits the New Orleans Saints on “Sunday Night Football.” It'll be one of five night games on the schedule for Dallas over a span of 10 games.

It was less than a year ago that Dallas pulled off a prime-time upset against New Orleans. The Cowboys beat the Saints on “Thursday Night Football” in Week 13 of last season, ending the Saints’ 10-game winning streak.

Dallas will actually play a string of three consecutive night games. The Cowboys are set to host the Philadelphia Eagles on “Sunday Night Football” in Week 7. Following a bye in Week 8, Dallas will visit the Giants on “Monday Night Football” in Week 9 and host the Minnesota Vikings on “Sunday Night Football” in Week 10.

The team’s last prime-time game is scheduled for Week 14 on Thursday night against the Chicago Bears at Soldier Field.

The Cowboys played six prime-time games in 2018, going 4-2.
