Two teams who need to win to keep their momentum going will face off on Sunday. The Dallas Cowboys (8-5) will travel to Indiana to take on the Indianapolis Colts (7-6) in a battle between two of the hottest teams in the NFL, and oddsmakers like the home team to win.

The Colts are slight favorites at home, with OddsShark giving them a 3-point edge over the resurgent Cowboys. Indianapolis has won six of its last seven games, while Dallas rides into town on a five-game winning streak.

The stakes in this game are high, but they are significantly higher for the home team. The Colts have a precariously low margin for error to make the playoffs, even with how hot they have been recently. Even though they just upset the division-leading Houston Texans on the road, it will be nearly impossible for them to win the AFC South.

With either the Kansas City Chiefs or Los Angeles Chargers more or less guaranteed to get one wild card spot, the battle for the 6th seed in the AFC will be competitive.

The Cowboys will also be motivated to win on Sunday, but they have significantly more wiggle room than the Colts. If they win, they win the NFC East and get a home playoff game. Even if they lose, their path to a division championship is fairly secure.
