The new season of MTV’s “The Challenge” is almost upon us. The network released the first trailer for the upcoming 2015 installment Tuesday and revealed that some veteran cast members will be returning.

“The Challenge: Battle of the Bloodlines” will bring together 14 cast members from various MTV series. Like previous seasons, this year will feature a twist. According to Us Weekly, the Season 27 cast will be partnered with some familiar faces: their family members. “I have a bit of a surprise for you guys. You are not ready for this,” host TJ Lavin says in the trailer.

“This is crazy,” contestant Camila Nakagawa responds. “That changes the entire game."

Other veterans set to star alongside Camila include Johnny “Bananas” Devenanzio, who will bring a male cousin, Nany Gonzalez, who will bring a female cousin, and Aneesa Ferreira.

The trailer also reveals that Chris "CT" Tamburello, who left last season when his ex-girlfriend and partner Diem Brown fell sick, will return. Diem passed away from stomach and colon cancer on Nov. 14, 2014. After her death, CT announced to his fans that he would be taking a break from the public eye. “I am going to take time for myself,” he wrote on Instagram after attending Diem’s funeral. “And before I go, I thought it was appropriate to let everyone know that you are all appreciated.” CT's Season 27 partner, a blonde female, is not identified in the teaser.

The Ashley’s Reality Roundup was the first to report in June that this season of “The Challenge” would host a “Bloodlines” theme. The site reported that “The Challenge: Battle of the Exes 2” fourth-place winner, Jenna Compono, and last season’s runner-up, Leroy Garrett, would star.

According to Us, the cast will be competing for the chance to win $350,000. This season will reportedly take place in Bodrum, Turkey.

“The Challenge: Battle of the Bloodlines” premieres Wednesday, Dec. 2, at 10 p.m. EST on MTV. Watch the first trailer, via Us Weekly, here.
