The Dallas Cowboys have been linked to more top free agents than any other team in the 2020 NFL offseason. Dallas gave out the largest free-agent contract. The second and third largest deals were signed by players that were on the Cowboys’ roster last season.

Dak Prescott could have the highest salary of any player that entered the offseason without a contract. The Cowboys used the franchise tag on the quarterback, though the two sides are working on a long-term deal that could pay Prescott close to $35 million a year.

Between their additions and subtractions, Dallas’ roster is considered to be among the best in football. Only a handful of teams have better Super Bowl odds than the Cowboys.

The Cowboys rank as the sixth favorites to win the 2021 Super Bowl at FanDuel Sportsbook. Dallas has +1900 odds, putting them behind the Tampa Bay Buccaneers (+1700), New Orleans Saints (+1300), San Francisco 49ers (+900), Baltimore Ravens (+700) and defending champion Kansas City Chiefs (+650).

The Philadelphia Eagles are tied with Dallas at +1900. Both teams have +125 odds to win the NFC East.

Philadelphia won the division in the 2019 season, finishing a game ahead of Dallas. The Cowboys went 8-8, marking their worst record in the last four years.

Prescott has been Dallas’ starting quarterback in every game during that span. The Cowboys haven’t had a losing record since selecting the signal caller in the fourth round of the 2016 draft. He finished second in the league with 4,902 passing yards in 2019 and led the NFL’s No.1 ranked offense.

Amari Cooper was a big part of that offense. The wide receiver led Dallas with 79 catches, 1,189 yards and eight touchdowns. Cooper signed a five-year, $100 million contract to return to the Cowboys shortly after officially hitting free agency.

Tight end Jason Witten signed with the Las Vegas Raiders.

Cornerback Byron Jones left Dallas in free agency, signing a five-year, $82.5 million contract. Defensive end Robert Quinn is headed to the Chicago Bears after playing one season with the Cowboys.

Dallas made two notable additions to the defensive front. Gerald McCoy and Dontari Poe join a defensive line that’s anchored by DeMarcus Lawrence.
