“Dancing With the Stars” fans might want to keep their eyes locked on Denver Broncos linebacker Von Miller this season. His Season 22 partner, pro Witney Carson, recently dished on how the athlete has been doing in rehearsals and teased that Miller is quick at picking up the dance moves.

“He’s great on choreography. He’s an amazing student. I love that because I get to boss a big football player around,” Carson told “Entertainment Tonight.” “I’m super excited, but it is kind of scary because there’s two other athletes [among this season's contenders].”

In past seasons of the ABC show, football players such as Hines Ward and Emmitt Smith have danced their way to the finale and taken home the coveted Mirror Ball trophy. This season, Miller will be up against Pittsburgh Steelers' Antonio Brown, who is partnered with Sharna Burgess, and former quarterback Doug Flutie, who will be dancing with Karina Smirnoff. “I cringed when I heard there were two other football players,” Carson continued. “But we’ve just got to make him stand out!”

Carson said part of their plan to make it to the end is to incorporate some of Miller’s personality into their dances. After all, the 26-year-old has become known for busting out some interesting moves on the football field. For Week 1, Carson told “ET” that she and Miller will be dancing the foxtrot.

“It’s not a normal foxtrot song,” she teased. “It’s kind of a little more pop-y. It’s going to be good. It kind of shows his personality as well as his dance moves.”

Miller recently joked about his dance rehearsals with Carson, who won Season 19, writing on Instagram that she was the “toughest middle linebacker [he’s] ever danced with.”

It seems like Week 1 of “Dancing With the Stars” is already shaping up to be spectacular. Pro Keo Motsepe told International Business Times that he and his partner, “Fuller House” star Jodie Sweetin, are planning something “very special” for their first dance.

“Dancing With the Stars” Season 22 will premiere Monday, March 21, at 8 p.m. EDT on ABC.
