Simone Biles may just have won gold at the 2016 Rio Olympics but now the decorated gymnast is eager to take home another coveted award: The Mirror Ball trophy.

The 19-year-old Olympian recently responded to rumors of her joining the Season 23 cast of “Dancing With the Stars.” According to the athlete, she would “love” to compete on the long-running ABC series but has a three month tour that follows the 2016 games. “I’m not sure if I’ll have time,” Biles told E! News.

But despite her hectic schedule, Biles is hoping that she will get asked to compete in Season 24 of the hip-shaking series. “I would really love to do it in the spring it that’s possible,” she said, confirming her desire to bust out a few moves in the ballroom … and maybe her iconic flip dubbed “The Biles.”

But Biles isn’t the only Olympian that is rumored to join the Season 23 cast of “Dancing With the Stars.” It has also been theorized that Laurie Hernandez — a fan of the series — will be twirling around the dance floor when the show returns this fall. And, according to “Dancing With the Stars” pro Mark Ballas, he hopes to be the one twirling her! While watching the Rio Olympics, Ballas tweeted out that he “absolutely [adored]” the 16-year-old athlete before questioning if the New Jersey native was looking for a dance teacher.

Other Olympic gymnasts who competed for the title of “Dancing With the Stars” champs include Shawn Johnson, who won Season 8 and also came in second during the All-Star installment, Aly Raisman, who shook it out in Season 16, and Nastia Liukin, who had viewers flipping out over her incredible routines in Season 20.

Audiences will find out which celebrities made the cut when Season 23 of “Dancing With the Stars” announces the cast on Tuesday, Aug. 30, beforeairing the premiere Monday, Sept. 12 on ABC.
