Audiences can expect several “Dancing With the Stars” alums to return to the ballroom when Season 23 of the hit ABC series premieres this fall. But veteran Kym Johnson won’t be one of them.

The blond haired Aussie recently revealed to “Entertainment Tonight” that she won’t be competing in the upcoming installment of “Dancing With the Stars.” “I love the show and I love to still be part of it but, you know, I still want to hang up my dance shoes and what a way to end,” she said, referring to the fact that she met her husband Robert Herjavec while to the two were trying to win the Mirror Ball trophy in 2015. “It’s like, ‘Thank you, ‘Dancing With the Stars.’”

Johnson and the “Shark Tank” star ended up earning sixth place during Season 20 of the dance competition series. But despite losing the coveted title of “DWTS” champion, the two ended up gaining something much more valuable: lifelong dance partners.

The couple announced in February that they were engaged before tying the knot July 16 with a lavish ceremony in Los Angeles. The wedding was attended by several of Johnson’s “DWTS” family members like Derek Hough, Mark Ballas and Donny Osmond, who Johnson came in first place with during Season 9.

Although Johnson is eager to say goodbye to the ballroom, Herjavec is anxious to get back on the dance floor and bust out a few moves. The TV star dished that he’s determined to partner up with someone new and take home the Season 23 Mirror Ball trophy. After all, Johnson kind of distracted him the season they competed together! “I blame you Kym,” he quipped, jokingly placing the blame for his elimination on her. “Yeah, if you weren’t there I would of won!”

Even though Johnson and Herjavec won’t be performing a sexy salsa number during the upcoming season, the professional dancer revealed that audiences could see her partake in the upcoming season in some capacity — like appearing on “Dancing With the Stars: All Access” online show.

“Dancing With the Stars” will air its Season 23 premiere Monday, Sept. 12, on ABC.
