David Schwimmer and Jennifer Aniston are reportedly spending a lot of time together after appearing on "Friends: The Reunion."

At the reunion, both the stars admitted they had a crush on each other while filming the popular sitcom but they never really dated. The special episode premiered on May 27.

Now, according to CloserOnline, the "Friends" stars are together and spending quality time with each other.

Fans of the sitcom, who saw both the actors playing lovebirds on-screen, got really excited and took to Twitter on Tuesday to share their reactions to the rumors.

One person wrote, "Hearing rumors that Jennifer Anniston and David Schwimmer are dating and it's the fairytale Ending we ALL needed. i hope it's true!!!"

Another Twitter user noted how the internet is trying to find out if the former "Friends" stars are actually dating.

A user compared Aniston and Schwimmer to Jennifer Lopez and Ben Affleck and wrote, "Jennifer Lopez and Ben Affleck: look at us. Jennifer Anniston and David Schwimmer: hold our beers"

Another fan wrote, "If David Schwimmer and Jennifer Aniston are legit dating I think this is the one chance we have as a planet for world peace."

"After the reunion, it became clear that reminiscing over the past had stirred up feelings for both of them and that chemistry they'd always had to bury was still there," a source close to the rumored couple told the outlet.

"They began texting immediately after filming and, just last month, David flew from his home in New York to see Jen in L.A.," the source added. "They've been spending time at Jen's home, where she's cooked dinners in the evenings, and have enjoyed quality time together, chatting and laughing."

The source further revealed that "they were also spotted drinking wine, deep in conversation, as they walked around one of Jen's favorite vineyards in Santa Barbara, where it was clear there was lots of chemistry between them."

In the sitcom, Schwimmer and Aniston portrayed Ross Geller and Rachel Green respectively. The show ran from Sept. 22, 1994 to May 6, 2004. While Aniston is currently working on "The Fixer," Schwimmer last appeared in the television series "Intelligence."
