‘Days Of Our Lives’ Spoilers: What Happens During Hope And Sami’s Showdown?

Their meeting once again was something neither one of them had hoped would happen, but now, with it inevitable following the drama that unfolded at John and Marlena’s wedding, Hope and Sami are set to have an epic showdown on the Wednesday, Aug. 29 episode of “Days of Our Lives.”

Hope (Kristian Alfonso) has not wanted to deal with Sami (Alison Sweeney) since it came out that she and Rafe (Galen Gering) slept together the night he and Hope had briefly called off their engagement. She managed to move past it and forgive Rafe on the NBC soap, and the two are now married. However. With news that John (Drake Hogestyn) and Marlena (Deidre Hall) were getting married, came the risk that Sami was headed back to Salem, and Hope didn’t want to deal with her. However, now, she will be forced to, as Rafe brings Sami into the station following the events that went down at the wedding.

Sami crashed the ceremony and exposed that Kristen DiMera (Stacy Haiduk) was back in the process. Kristen then taunted Sami that she should destroy Marlena’s life, and if she did so by shooting John, then Kristen would take her to EJ, who she claimed was still alive. Eric (Greg Vaughan) then went to wrestle the gun out of his sister’s hands, and in the struggle, it went off. As a result, Marlena herself was shot and is now fighting for her life during a complicated surgery. Rafe was forced to take Sami into the station for questioning, and now, she will see Hope again.

Naturally, when Hoppe and Sami wind up face-to-face, it won’t be a pleasant moment for either of them, with Hope clearly not happy about seeing her. Things will quickly escalate between the women as the battle about what happened with Rafe also turns into one about what went down at the wedding. As Hope screams that Sami has always been selfish and only does things if they benefit her, things will get physical and may need to be broken up entirely, as Hope slams Sami to the floor.
