Rafe (Galen Gering) confronts Ted (Gilles Marini) about making a play for his wife on the March 5, 2019 episode of “Days of Our Lives.” XJ Johnson/JPI Studios for NBC

He doesn’t trust the new acting D.A. of Salem and especially hates how close he has become to his own wife. Now, as Rafe learns more about what happened between Ted and Hope while he was abroad, he will take action against the other man on the Tuesday, March 5 episode of “Days of Our Lives.”

Rafe (Galen Gering) finally came back to Salem after helping Sami (Allison Sweeney) in Europe and returned to chaos thanks to Jordan (Chrishell Stause Hartley) returning on the NBC soap and wreaking havoc with her plot to get Ben (Robert Scott Wilson) locked up again. He also noticed that while he was away, Ted (Gilles Marini) seemed to grow a little closer to Hope (Kristian Alfonso), much to his chagrin. Now, after visiting with Kate (Lauren Koslow) and learning more about her own history with the slimy lawyer/current D.A., he will confront the other man.

However, the situation could take an unexpected turn that Rafe couldn’t have predicted. If he learns about how far Ted tried to take things with Hope, it could force him to try and run the man out of town for his sleazy behavior.

Ted kissed Hope in an attempt to win her over and get her for himself, but she pushed him away and slapped him in response. Since then, he has seemed as though he would consider spilling to Rafe, though he hasn’t yet. Now, when Hope’s husband comes after him, he may feel obligated to reveal what happened.

Since this won’t sit well with Rafe, it could lead to things being more dramatic than ever, especially when it comes to his marriage. The two have been hit with a lot when it comes to problems with their exes and others, and a kiss with someone else, even if it was rejected, could bring trouble.

“Days of Our Lives” airs weekdays on NBC.
