They have been facing the prospect of time in prison thanks to Leo turning them in for false attempted murder charges. However, celebration over things going their way could be cut short for Will and Sonny as more bad news threatens to dampen their spirits on the Tuesday, March 12 episode of “Days of our Lives.”

Will (Chandler Massey) and Sonny (Freddie Smith) were after a way to find whatever would help them get Leo (Greg Rikaart) not only to drop his false charges against them but out of their lives for good. Now, thanks to John (Drake Hogestyn) telling the other man he could be his son on the NBC soap and striking a deal with him, the charges have been dropped—and Will and Sonny will certainly feel the need to celebrate.

While they will still have the problem of Leo being married to Sonny to contend with, the fact that they aren’t going to jail will be a big enough thing for them. However, the celebrations could still be cut short, because unfortunately, Leo isn’t the only con artist in his family who is pulling a fast one on the couple or their loved ones.

Desperate to win John back for herself, Diana (Judith Chapman) had been thinking of ways she can try to eliminate Marlena (Deidre Hall), and eventually learned about her deathly allergy to penicillin. After injecting some macaroons from Haley (Thia Megia) that were on her desk with a liquid version of the drug, Diana waited for Marlena to eat one. She did and quickly fainted as a result—and her life could be in genuine jeopardy.

Now, even if the couple is happy about their own good fortune, things could once again turn tragic for them.

“Days of Our Lives” airs weekdays on NBC.
