KEY POINTS

  • Demi Lovato shared a sexy picture of herself online
  • She is raising money for charity
  • The singer released the emo version of her new single "I Love Me"

Demi Lovato hasn’t been going out because she is practicing social distancing, but she has been engaging with her fans online by sharing recent updates and posting throw back photos. The singer and actress recently shared a sexy picture of hers online and at the same time she is using her celebrity status to raise some money for charity.

Lovato shared a throwback picture of her wearing a sports bra from her Fabletics line of clothing on Instagram. She announced in the post that she is pledging $125,000 to support frontline workers who are helping in the fight against the coronavirus.

The money will be raised by donating $5 for every Fabletics product that is sold and this initiative will continue until June. The funds will be donated to COVID-19 Solidarity Response Fund for the World Health Organization, which is supported by the United Nations Foundation.

Lovato has also been using this time to work on and release some new music. She has released the emo version of her new single “I Love Me” on Instagram. She also tagged Travis Baker in the post and thanked him for his support.

One of the more recent videos that Lovato released from her home is a fun little compilation of clips that were shot by Angelo Kritikos and Zachariah. The video shows the singer in different seductive poses while the voice over mimics her getting a call.

Lovato also joined Sam Smith recently to release a behind-the-scenes video of them making the “I’m Ready” music video. Jora Frantzis directed the music track and she said that she envisioned motion and energy for the song after hearing how powerful and big the song was. With this vision in mind, she created visuals related to sports and at the same time tried to depict what Smith represents.

Using imagery of sports was important because for many people in the gay community the high school sports experience may have been traumatizing. The video was Smith’s way of empowering the community and “taking the power back.”

In the behind-the-scenes video, Lovato said that making the music video was “so much fun” and she added that she knows she will work with Smith again in the future.
