Did Kate Middleton Ignore Camilla In Public Amid Royals’ Rumored ‘Secret War’?

Kate Middleton was recently accused of ignoring Camilla Parker Bowles while on their way to a church service with Queen Letizia of Spain and Queen Maxima of the Netherlands.

Eagle-eyed royal watchers reacted to a clip of the Duchess of Cambridge seemingly ignoring the Duchess of Cornwall while talking to the other royals. Twitter user Royal Detective, who uploaded the video, said that what made things more awful was the fact that Camilla tried to talk to Middleton but she was completely ignored.

But body language expert Judi James recently explained to Express what might have really transpired during the outing. She said that it was a fact that Middleton and Queen Letizia were engrossed in their conversation, but it was not their intention to ignore Camilla.

“I’m sure we’ve all experienced that moment when you try to break into a new group at a social function only to find yourself slightly frozen out because they’re having a such a very good time chatting together. Maybe they didn’t spot you or maybe they were just getting along too well together to allow newcomers to interrupt their stories, and this does look for all the world like what is happening to Camilla here as she tries to break into a very animated chat between and Letizia,” she said.

James added that the Duchess of Cambridge and Queen Letizia were simply having a good chat in the clip. Standing in between them is Camilla that’s why it was quite evident that she looked ignored even though this wasn’t intentional.

“It seems Camilla’s conversation behind them has come to an end and she slowly turns to break into a new group. Her trait of mirroring the two women’s body language is a famous networking trick as it helps with integration even if you don’t yet know what they are talking about,” James said about Camilla.

The body language expert also noted the fact that Queen Letizia tried to include Camilla into her conversation with Middleton. However, she and Prince William’s wife quickly fell back into their chat, and Camilla simply looked away.
