Disgraced celebrity pastor Carl Lentz has "gone into hiding" after he was fired from Hillsong Church and admitted to having an affair, a report says.

Lentz is famous for his close ties for his ties to Justin Bieber and other celebrities, having preached to Kendall and Kylie Jenner, Chris Pratt and Kevin Durant, among many others. However, the church fired him last week due to “ongoing discussions in relation to leadership issues and breaches of trust, plus a recent revelation of moral failures” before he confessed to cheating on his wife of 17 years and fellow minister, Laura.

An unnamed source has told Page Six that Lentz is too embarrassed to answer any calls and is currently unreachable.

"It's like he's gone into hiding," the insider said. "He’s not returning anyone’s phone calls. Friends have been trying to encourage him to hire someone to navigate this situation, but he’s not responding."

While Lentz had served as Bieber's mentor and spiritual adviser at one point, the singer cut ties with the pastor over a year ago, according to the source.

"[Justin] quit going and it was pretty abrupt. He separated from the church a while ago. They used him," the tipster added. "They were opportunistic leaches. Carl ‘Hipster too cool for school’ is a total used car salesman type of guy."

"He was always living the pop star life, popping bottles on private planes. The infidelity was not a surprise. At one point, he was in Australia with Bieber at a bar with his shirt off and doing shots… He’s new age and modern, but shots and taking off your clothes in public places? Come on."

Lentz did not respond to Page Six's request for comment.

On Nov. 6, Lentz admitted his infidelity in a post on Instagram a day after he was fired. He said that he had wanted to apologize in person to the people he served in the church, but since he had no chance to do it, he decided to issue his apology on social media.

"I was unfaithful in my marriage, the most important relationship in my life and held accountable for that," he wrote.

"This failure is on me, and me alone and I take full responsibility for my actions," he continued. "I now begin a journey of rebuilding trust with my wife, Laura and my children and taking real time to work on and heal my own life and seek out the help that I need."

Meanwhile, Lentz's alleged mistress, fashion designer Ranin, also recently spoke about their affair, revealing in an interview with the New York Post that they had a five-month relationship after meeting in Brooklyn in May. She admitted that they had been "obsessed" with each other.
