Miley Cyrus is done with Mary Jane for good. The singer, once unabashed about her Marijuana use, had quit smoking.

During an appearance on “The Tonight Show with Jimmy Fallon,” Cyrus told the show’s host it was her first sober appearance on the show. She admitted to Jimmy Fallon that she’d been smoking quite a bit, quitting before the release of her forthcoming album. Cyrus, 24, said she wanted to be in a “super clear” state while writing and making music.

“I’m actually the most passionate about what I’m doing with this record than I’ve been — I say this every time, but I loved making this record so, so much,” she said (via Entertainment Weekly). “And this record at this moment is the most important album that I’ve ever made. So I wanted to make sure that I was super clear in the way I’m talking.”

Additionally, Cyrus said that she’d been having some pretty frightening dreams about where her weed use would lead. The award winning musician told Fallon, 42, she’d been having a “nightmare” about dying while delivering a “Saturday Night Live” monologue high. She assured Fallon that nothing that extreme ever happened while she was smoking, telling him the most she ever did was “sit at home and eat” and play with her pets.

“I was spending way too much time with the pig,” she joked. “And not enough time actually doing really anything.”

A new sense of clarity isn’t the only thing that’s changed about Cyrus since she gave up smoking weed. According to dad Billy Ray Cyrus, the singer’s “so happy” lately. He attributes much of her happiness to her rekindled relationship with Liam Hemsworth.

“I just love seeing her so happy,” he told ET Online.

Miley and Hemsworth have made their relationship extremely public. As such, a number of rumors have swirled about their relationship status. Many fans seem to believe the couple may have secretly tied the knot.

Billy Ray took to Instagram, putting a stop to marriage rumors once and for all. Falls stories began swirling after Miley was photographed wearing a white gown that appeared to be bridal. Her father told fans not to “jump the gun.”

After the fact, Us Weekly obtained a statement from Miley’s manager. In a brief statement, he confirmed that the photo was nothing more than a picture of the singer “in a white dress.” He said no more on the subject.

“[It was] just some great photos that happen to have been taken in a white dress,” the statement read.

At the time, Miley and Hemsworth had been spending a lot of time together and grown more and more public about it. The pair shared photos from their Valentine’s day date. The Australian actor snapped a picture of himself, Miley and their dogs on the beach.

Rumors continue to swirl about the nature of Miley and Hemsworth’s relationship. Ahead of the singers “Tonight Show” appearance, a new crop of marriage rumors began circulating. They remain unconfirmed.
