Donald Trump reveals that he doesn’t want to “work at a relationship” with Melania Trump.

In 2005, the president and first lady sat for an interview with CNN’s Larry King. During their guesting, Trump talked about his relationship with Melania and made a shocking confession about their marriage. The POTUS said that he doesn’t want to work on their relationship and Melania doesn’t make this hard for him.

Trump likened his relationship with Melania to that of his parents who have been married for over 60 years. Trump said that he always heard that one has to work on a good relationship, but his father didn’t work for it.

“My father didn’t work at a good relationship,” Trump said.

“He went home, he had dinner, he went to bed. He took it easy. He watched television. My mother did the same thing, she cooked them dinner. It was just one of those things, it wasn’t work.”

When King asked Trump, “You’re not working at this?” The POTUS said, “no.”

“I work very hard from early in the morning to late in the evening. I don’t want to go home and have to work at a relationship. I mean, that’s it. A relationship you have to work at, in my opinion doesn’t work,” Trump explained.

Early this month, the FLOTUS sparked marital feud rumors when she joined Trump at the NCAA College Football Championship. Many noticed that Melania was smiling, but her facial expression turned into a grimace when Trump reached out to hold her hand.

Several netizens also noticed that she snatched her hand away from the POTUS during the event. The POTUS and FLOTUS’ awkward interaction prompted some fans to react, with several saying that Melania wasn’t happy with the hand holding.

Meanwhile, Melania and Trump just celebrated their 15th wedding anniversary on Jan. 22. The White House shared a sweet photo of the POTUS and FLOTUS while dancing. The first couple looked sweet and loved-up in the snap.

However, Trump and Melania didn’t mention their marriage milestone on social media just like last year. Some were surprised because Trump allegedly made over a hundred of tweets that day but never mentioned his anniversary with his wife.
