A tabloid claimed Chris Hemsworth’s wife Elsa Pataky was jealous of comments the actor’s “Bad Times at the El Royale” co-star Dakota Johnson made during an interview for October 2018 cover of Vogue Australia. However, Gossip Cop debunked the false narrative.

The untrue rumors were cooked up by Woman’s Day, as it built on Johnson’s comments about Hemsworth’s “outrageous” physique during the Vogue interview.

“Oh my god. It’s such a distraction,” Johnson said during the interview. “I was like, guys, you’ve made a huge mistake getting him to do this, because everyone is going to forget everything that happened [in the film] until this point. Chris is going to come onto the screen, and his body is outrageous, it’s unbelievable, like a crazy, crazy thing to look at, and his shirt’s completely unbuttoned. No-one on set could pay attention to anything else…”

While quoting the Vogue article, the tabloid conveniently omitted out the part where Johnson mentioned she was not praising Hemsworth in a “sexual way” but rather from the point of view of staying fit.

“…it was so shocking, not in a sexual way at all, just, like, scientifically, how is it possible to look like that? Crazy! Then he would eat a bowl of Smarties and you’re like: ‘You’re an a------, f--- you!’ I don’t eat anything sweet: I eat green things for three months in order to fit into a pair of jeans. And he eats whatever the fuck he wants and looks like he was literally chiseled out of marble – it’s insane,” Johnson added.

After ignoring the context of the “Fifty Shades” actress’ comments, the fraudulent piece went on to suggest a “seething” Pataky was insecure of Johnson’s comments about her husband’s physique.

“Elsa is annoyed, and she’s let it be known that Dakota better keep her hands off,” an anonymous insider told the magazine. “Chris is a handsome man and Elsa understands a lot of women will be gawking but make no mistake, he’s her man and the father of her children.”

According to Gossip Cop, it was absurd to suggest Pataky, who is an actress herself and hence familiar with romantic rumors that surrounded co-stars when they are promoting a movie, would be jealous of Johnson’s comments.

Hemsworth’s herculean figure has been praised by multiple celebrities in the past. Actress Charlize Theron called the “Thor” actor “that boy is pretty” in an interview with Today, back when both of them were promoting their movie “Snow White And The Huntsman,” while the actor’s “Avengers” co-star Scarlett Johansson had described him as “shockingly handsome.”

Besides, Johnson is in a serious relationship with Coldplay singer Chris Martin. Although the pair were notoriously private about their love lives, People Magazine reported the two got matching tattoos of the infinity symbol — she just above her left elbow and he on his inner right arm — which they showed off earlier this month.

Lastly, from the photos Hemsworth and Pataky keep posting on their Instagram feeds, it was more than clear there was no trouble brewing in the marital paradise, proving she was not jealous of the actor’s co-star commenting on his body.
