  • Lily's character Emily will have new love interests in the upcoming season

Love it or hate it, but you cannot ignore it. That sums up how "Emily In Paris" was received by the audience. While there are fans who absolutely adored the show and devoured it without a break, some disagree with the way the Netflix original portrays Parisians. However, if you are a fan of the show, we have some good news.

The cast of "Emily in Paris recently started shooting for the comedy drama's second season and it was confirmed by the show's leading lady Lily Collins on Instagram in an adorable video.

She also wrote, “...Annnd we’re back! Beyond excited to officially be back filming Saison Deux of @emilyinparis !! More to come. A LOT more!...” If you are wondering if the original cast will be back, you will be happy to know, Ashley Park, Lucas Bravo, Philippine Leroy-Beaulieu, Samuel Arnold, Camille Razat, and Bruno Gouery appear in the video.

According to the Netflix press statement, "Emily In Paris" will not be constrained to just Paris and we will see other fantastic French locations like Saint Tropez.

Now, if you have watched Season 1, you already know about the love triangle between Camille (Camille Razat), Gabriel (Lucas Bravo) and Emily (Lily Collins). But in season two, Emily will have some tough choices to make in terms of her relationship. So, that will be interesting for fans to see.

We will also get to see more of Emily’s BFF Mindy (Ashley Park) in season two. In the finale episode of Emily In Paris, Season 1, we saw that Mindy not only moved in with Emily but also started working at a drag club to pursue her lifelong dream as a singer. “What's obvious is that she's working at this drag club, [she's] a singer, an MC now, so I'm sure there will be more music for Mindy,” said Ashley Park speaking to E! Online.

The upcoming season will also introduce Emily’s new love interests played by Lucien Laviscount and Arnaud Binard. Also, for those who were invested in Sylvie’s (Philippine Leroy-Beaulieu) love life, Antoine (William Abadie) will be a regular appearance in Season 2 and we can expect either a closure to their story or the start of something new.

Of course, the season will be incomplete without some designer drama and Jeremy O. Harris joins the show as Gregory Elliott Dupree who is not only an iconic designer but is also the former protégé of Pierre Cadault.

It certainly is going to be interesting. And if you are wondering, yes, Emily finally learns some French in the upcoming season.
