Longoria is best known for her “Desperate Housewives” role as Gabrielle Solis. The show started in 2004 and had eight seasons. The success of the show enabled Longoria to become one of the highest paid actresses in 2011. Forbes reported that the 45-year-old received a $375,000 salary per episode. Each season typically had around 23 episodes, so it’s safe to say Longoria earned decently from “Desperate Housewives.” She even earned nominations at the Golden Globe and Screen Actors Guild Awards for her acting.

Born Eva Jacqueline Longoria, the Corpus Christi, Texas native was raised in an American-Mexican household. “Beverly Hills 90210” and “General Hospital” jump-started her career in 1999. To date, her list of highest grossing films includes “The Sentinel,” “The Heartbreak Kid,” “Dora and the Lost City of Gold” and “Overboard.”

Aside from acting, Longoria busies herself as a producer. She worked on “Ready For Love,” “Harvest,” “Devious Maids" and “Food Chains.” She has also collaborated with brands such as Pepsi, Magnum ice cream, Heineken, Microsoft, L'Oreal Paris and Mars Petcare, among others.

The Texas A&M University graduate also opened two restaurants in Hollywood and Las Vegas. Unfortunately, the business failed, forcing her to file for bankruptcy. After her restaurant business, Longoria shifted her focus on real estate investments.

On the personal side, Longoria was formerly married to Tyler Christopher from 2002 to 2004 before meeting Tony Parker. She and the San Antonio Spurs star tied the knot in 2007 only to divorce after three years. The American-Mexican is currently married to mass media company Televisa president José Antonio "Pepe" Bastón Patiño. The couple has a son together.

She owns a property in Beverly Hills that carries a price tag of $13.5 million. The mansion features tennis courts, six fireplaces and a Baja pool. Moreover, Longoria also maintains a 1,500-square-foot residence in Zuma Beach, Malibu.
