After a five year break since her last album, Adele will be back this year with new music.

Over the weekend the 31-year-old London-native both officiated and performed songs like “Rolling in the Deep” at the wedding of her best friend, Laura Dockrill, in England. During the festivities, she announced to the crowd, “expect my album in September,” People reports.

Adele hasn’t released new music since her 2015 album “25,” which earned her a Grammy award for album of the year in 2016.

Not much is known about the details of the new album, but fans can expect it to be an intimate reflection on Adele’s life in the past few years. “She talks about last year as a very difficult year, and she’s said in the past that creating new music is almost like therapy,” said a close source to the singer told People in September 2019. “You can tell that she is ready to share with her fans.”

So far the biggest detail of the new album is its potential title, “30.” While Adele has yet to confirm its official name, the album is due to be riddled with lyrics from the 30th year in the vocalist’s life, one that she claims was extremely difficult.

“For the first time in a decade I’m ready to feel the world around me and look up for once,” she said on Instagram post for her 31st birthday last May. “...30 will be a drum n bass record to spite you. Chin up, eh.”

In her personal life, Adele has been working to transform her entire lifestyle for the benefit of her 7-year-old son, Angelo. After losing about 100 pounds, it was revealed that the change was spurred by the singer’s desire to become “the healthiest mom possible.”

“Her whole focus during the weight loss journey has really how been all about how she can be healthier and how can she treat her body better,” another source said in a separate report from People earlier this month. “It was never about losing weight. Her weight loss happened because she has cut down drinking and is eating more real food. But she now loves her physical transformation too. She is more confident, dresses differently and she just seems happier overall.”
