The ex-boyfriend of a pregnant Texas woman was charged after her body was found in a freezer at his home.

The body of the victim, Selena Bradley, 23, was found wrapped in a blue tarpaulin stacked inside a kitchen freezer after authorities from the Tom Green County Sheriff’s Office arrived at her ex-boyfriend’s home with a search warrant, Monday. The ex-boyfriend, William James Hernandez, was arrested, Tuesday, following an overnight manhunt involving multiple police departments, according to KIRO-TV.

Hernandez was charged with murder and tampering with a corpse. He is currently being held at the Tom Green County Jail. In addition to facing charges related to Bradley’s murder, Hernandez is being held on additional charges linked to separate incidents, including child abuse, the station reported, citing, jail records show.

Bradley, who was pregnant with her third child, was last seen alive, Friday, Abilene Reporter-News reported, citing an arrest affidavit. The victim’s mother, Christie Skelton, told KTXS-TV that Martinez allegedly posed as Bradley to post on her Facebook profile Saturday falsely claiming that she was okay. "Listen, I’m fine," the post read, according to the station. "I’m OK, I’m just want to be left ... alone. When I’m ready to come back, I will. I have to get me and my happiness together."

According to the arrest affidavit seen by Abilene Reporter News, a homicide investigation was launched, Monday, after Tom Green Sheriff's Office investigator interviewed a childhood friend of Martinez. The friend told cops confessed about killing Bradley and hiding her body in the freezer three days earlier. Investigators interrogated a former girlfriend of Martinez, who confirmed that he was dating Bradley.

Bradley had "marks on her neck on the left side of her face consistent with being struck and assaulted," according to the affidavit. The cause and manner of death will be determined in an autopsy.
