Vin Diesel is currently busy working on “Fast and Furious 9.” The actor took a break last weekend to celebrate Father’s Day with the family.

Filming is yet to begin for “Fast and Furious 9.” Director Justin Lin and his team are currently busy with the pre-production work, and Diesel appears to be heavily involved in the development of the next instalment of the popular franchise.

In a message to his fans on Instagram, Diesel said that he is currently busy with the “monumental task” of making his upcoming film. However, he took some time off to celebrate Father’s Day with his family.

“The family puts a smile on my face,” Diesel captioned the post. The actor added that he felt “blessed” for being surrounded by such wonderful people in his life.

Although the development of the next film is still in the pre-production phase, Diesel is keeping himself physically fit in order to reprise his role. The actor previously shared a snap of him working out at the gym with a serious look on his face.

“Dom state of mind,” Diesel wrote in his post, referring to his character from the films.

Almost all films that Diesel makes are action-heavy in nature. With each new movie, the actor tries to take things to the next level. It remains to be seen what he is planning for “Fast and Furious 9.”

“The journey continues,” Diesel wrote in another Instagram post. The actor is joined by Michelle Rodriguez in the photo. Rodriguez is expected to reprise her role as Letty Ortiz in the upcoming film.

There will be a few new faces in “Fast and Furious 9.” John Cena has already been confirmed as a new cast member of the film, but details about his character are currently being kept under wraps.
