Who says that exes can't be friends?

It's barely been a month since former "The Bachelor" couple Colton Underwood and Cassie Randolph announced their split and they've already reunited for some fun. On Thursday, each received a permanent reminder of their night together-- a tattoo.

Colton shared a picture of himself in the act of getting inked and wrote, "A glass of red, some art and good friends!"

Meanwhile, Cassie's sister, Michelle Randolph, chronicled the night on her personal Instagram Story, writing, "Last night @cassierandolph & I did a thing."

Although neither of their posts featured Cassie and Colton in the same frame together, both posts did feature the same tattoo artist.

Many would take exes hanging out so soon after a split as them attempting to get back together, but an insider dished to Us Weekly that it's not the case when it comes to this former couple.

"It was just a bunch of meaningful tattoos and a really nice, chill night with friends," the source said.

Their new works of art come just days after the 28-year-old former NFL player was spotted in Cassie's hometown of Huntington Beach, California. At that time, a source echoed the same sentiment about his relationship with the 25-year-old.

"Colton and Cassie are not back together, but they've been making a real effort to stay friends," the insider explained to People. "They’ve seen each other several times since Colton got back to L.A."

Colton and Cassie confirmed their split in Instagram posts on their individual accounts on May 29, however, fans thought the couple had called it quits weeks before that. In mid-May, their followers commented on their pages asking if they were still together, and although they did not respond to the messages themselves, a source claimed that they were still together at the time.

"Everything is fine," the source said. "[Colton] is just in Colorado visiting with his family since he hasn’t been with them since the pandemic broke and recovering from COVID-19 himself. He was with Cassie up until the night he left for Colorado, but he’ll be back in L.A. soon. They’re both just enjoying time with their families."
