In a shocking incident, two teenagers and two men in their early 20s have been accused of killing a 40-year-old man in front of his wife and daughter at their southwest Houston apartment complex. All the four men are at large and the police continues to hunt for them.

According to a report in Mail Online, the men gunned down and stabbed Victor Quevedo, the victim, outside his home on Saturday night.

Quevedo from Houston, Texas, was driving his car into his apartment after an outing with his wife and 13-year-old stepdaughter when the men attacked the vehicle and demanded their cell phones and wallets, according to the Harris County Sheriff's Office.

According to investigators, Quevedo, a Mexican national, fought back and struggled briefly with one of the suspects before being shot and was pronounced dead at the scene, according to the The Houston Chronicle.

He was trying to push them away from us, like trying to make them go away. Then we hear a shot and them Mom tells them to, 'please, don't hurt my family, don't hurt my family, don't kill them,' Jacqueline Castillo, Quevedo's stepdaughter told KHOU.com.

Castillo said that the men took her backpack and before they left, they shot Quevedo in the face, which killed him faster since that made him choke on his own blood.

The bag that the suspects grabbed contained just two cell phones, a hairbrush and no cash, Mail Online report said.

Alicia Rodriguez, Quevedo's widow, told the Chronicle that she lost her husband for no reason.

They came to shoot him for nothing, the 36-year-old said.

The suspects are believed to be Hispanics.
