It is almost a new month, which means it is also time for a new batch of free games on Xbox One. Those who subscribe to Xbox Live Gold get four free games each month, and December is no different, per Microsoft.

Xbox Live Gold members will get access to two Xbox One games and two backwards-compatible games from previous Xbox consoles. For the entire month of December, “Q.U.B.E. 2” is free. It is a mind-bending, first-person puzzle game in a similar vein to “Portal” and was originally released earlier this year.

From Dec. 16 to Jan. 15, Xbox users can get “Never Alone” for free. The side-scrolling puzzle platformer is based in the folklore of Alaska’s indigenous Iñupiat people, and was made in conjunction with native groups. It was released in 2014 to positive reviews.

The backwards-compatible Xbox 360 version of the popular RPG “Dragon Age II” is free from Dec. 1 to 15, while the original Xbox version of “Mercenaries: Playground of Destruction” is free from Dec. 16 to 31.
