Kehlani expressed her fondness for Blackpink’s Lisa in her recent interview for K Culture Festival.

“Gangsta” singer Kehlani named former Girls Generation member Taeyeon and Blackpink’s Lisa as her favorite South Korean musicians in the interview for the K Culture Festival over the weekend.

Speaking like a true fangirl, the “Undercover” singer gave a shoutout to Taeyeon and Lisa as she expressed her desire to collaborate with two of South Korea’s certified hitmakers. A snippet of the interview was shared by Twitter user @Lsglobal.

"The American singer, @Kehlani Ashley Parrish mentioned #LISA during her 2021 World K-Pop Concert (K-Culture Festival) Interview. "I still want to collaborate with BLACKPINK LISA, girl love you," the fan wrote in the caption.

Organized by the Ministry of Culture, Sports and Tourism of the Republic of Korea, K Culture Festival was held last Saturday and Sunday which saw a host of performances from chart-topping girl groups and boybands at the Korea International Exhibition Center (KINTEX) in Goyang-Si, South Korea.

The event, which was livestreamed via K-Culture’s official YouTube channel, included performances from NCT Dream, SHINee’s Key, AESPA, Itzy, and Pentagon, among others. For her part, Kehlani delivered a virtual performance of her track, “Night Like This,” which can be seen in a video below.

Kehlani has expressed her admiration for Lisa several times on Twitter such as in this tweet when she “okayed” the “Money” singer’s dance routine in a concert in Tokyo Dome.

When a fan asked for a collaboration with Lisa in March, Kehlani replied to the tweet saying, “She knows I Love her.”

Lisa recently came back from the United States after a series of engagements, including an appearance at Las Vegas’ Zouk Nightclub where she partied with “SG” collaborator DJ Snake.

On his Instagram stories, DJ Snake posted clips of the Thai Blackpink member dancing in the club which was shared by fan account @LISANATIONS on Twitter.

Aside from playing "SG" in the club, the French-Algerian producer also played Lisa’s latest hit, “Money,” which debuted at No. 84 at Billboard’s Hot 100 early this month.

She also met up with her friends, Indonesian singer-producer Niki, and fellow Thai native and former CLC girl group member, Sorn, in L.A. Sorn shared a snap of their reunion on her Instagram page which she captioned with happy emojis.

Lisa also hugged a fan whom she met during an interview at @1027KIISFM’s Jojo Wright on Nov.11. Twitter user @LISANATIONS also shared the exciting moment in a tweet.
