George Clooney and Amal Alamuddin divorce rumors continue to make rounds online up to this writing. Speculations have it that the “Top Gun” actor and the British-Lebanese barrister have been living separately for months already, sparking reports that their marriage is hitting rock bottom.

New Idea Magazine, in its upcoming May 11, 2020 issue, claimed that George was spotted looking stressed out while escaping his marital home. The entertainment news outlet cited sources who stated that the current global health crisis has put the “Ocean’s Eleven” actor and Amal under so much pressure.

Reports have it that the past few weeks have been “hell on earth” for the couple. However, no concrete pieces of evidence can prove these hearsays up to this writing.

“George is not taking well to being bossed around, and Amal’s finding it suffocating having to clean up after him. He’s like a grown kid, watching TV and movies all day and stuffing his face with junk food while having virtual calls with his friends,” an unnamed source told New Idea.

The same tipster added that George Clooney and Amal Alamuddin have been arguing a lot lately despite putting on a united front for their kids – Alexander and Ella. Moreover, the couple’s fights have, allegedly, involved ultimatums in an attempt to patch up their troubled marriage.

In February, reports claimed that the “Up in the Air” actor has started thinking that he and Amal are not a great match even if they look great together. Informants stated that George thinks his wife is “spoiled” while the human rights lawyer, reportedly, thinks that her husband is “fame-hungry.”

Woman’s Day New Zealand even claimed that George Clooney has moved out of their love nest in Studio City in March after he was seen carrying some of his personal stuff in Los Angeles. The “Batman & Robin” star was, later, sighted having dinner with close pal Rande Gerber.

“George has kept Rande up to date on how things haven’t been good with Amal for a while now. He’s made it clear that if George needs somewhere to stay, even for a few days if discussions over their marriage become too intense, he is more than welcome to stay in Malibu with him and Cindy [Crawford, his wife], for as little or as long as he wants. I wouldn’t be surprised if that was where George was heading with his backpack,” an anonymous insider told the outlet.

Both George Clooney and Amal Alamuddin have yet to address these never-ending divorce rumors. However, with Woman’s Day and New Idea’s reputation for publishing dubious stories based on the accounts of its unknown and undependable sources, these claims could be another work of fiction waiting to be debunked. So, devoted supporters of the couple should take these unverified reports with a huge grain of salt until everything is proven true and correct.
