At a time when Google is expected to unveil its new Nexus phablet, the Huawei Nexus 6P alongside the LG Nexus 5X on Sept. 29, Android Police has come across a high resolution photo of the former, clearly showing the front-facing speakers of the upcoming device.

On the topside of the real panel, it sports a raised black bar that houses the camera and flash. The rest of the rear panel is white in color. Below the black bar there is a fingerprint scanner. It also features a huge Nexus logo and a small-sized Huawei logo.

The LG Nexus 5X will be coming in three colors, Quartz White, Charcoal Black and Ice Blue. Another leaked photo of the Huawei Nexus 6P reveals that the handset will arrive in four color options such as grey/silver, white, black and gold.

The Huawei Nexus 6P will be featuring better specs than the LG Nexus 5X. It is expected to feature a 5.7-inch display that will carry support for Quad HD resolution of 1440 x 2560 pixels. It will be powered with the Snapdragon 810 chipset and 3 GB of RAM.

It will be available in three storage versions such as 32 GB, 64 GB and 128 GB, but it is not likely to feature a microSD slot. The handset will coming with Android 6.0 Marshmallow out-of-the-box, and will also feature a USB Type-C reversible connector.

Huawei is an immensely popular smartphone brand in China. Rumors have it that Google has partnered with Huawei to launch its Google Play Store for Chinese audience as Android users in China make use of third-party app stores. Meanwhile, the Chinese smartphone maker expects the collaborating with the search engine giant to help it popularize its brand in the Western markets, The Verge reported.
