An image showcasing the display panel of the alleged LG Nexus 5 (2015) has surfaced, indicating that the LG Nexus variant will come with a 5.2-inch display.

A Twitter user, @manu09090 has published a tweet with an image containing display panels of the purported LG Nexus 5 (2015) and Huawei Nexus 6 (2015) smartphones. According to Phandroid, the famous leakster, @onleaks has compared the new display panel image with the previously leaked photos of the LG model, and has confirmed that the images are matching.

He has confirmed that the display panel on the left side of the image belongs to the LG Nexus 5 (2015). Phandroid speculated that the other display panel belongs to the Huawei Nexus 6 (2015).

According to a tweet from @onleaks, the LG Nexus 5 (2015) measures 146.9 x 72.9 x 8/9.8 mm. He claimed that the Huawei Nexus 6 (2015) would be coming with metal unibody but for the LG variant he has not confirmed whether it will feature a metallic chassis, Droid Feed reported.

Recent rumors suggested that the Google Nexus 5 2015 would be supporting Quad HD resolution of 1440 x 2560 pixels on its 5.2-inch screen. It will also be featuring a Snapdragon 808 chipset that will clock at 1.8 GHz along with 3 GB of LPDDR3 RAM.

The rear facing camera of the LG Nexus 5 (2015) will be of 13-megapixel and the frontal selfie snapper is expected to be of 5-megapixel. Rumors suggest that a battery of either 2,700 mAh or 3,180 mAh will be powering the device. It will also come with features like two stereo speakers on the front panel, USB Type-C connector and a fingerprint scanner.

The LG Nexus 5 (2015) is expected to launch alongside the Huawei Nexus 6 (2015) in October this year. The release of both the smartphones will also mark the arrival of Android 6.0 Marshmallow operating system.
