The price of the 16 GB and 32 GB Google Nexus 5X smartphone has been slashed by $80 on Google Store and other retailer sites. Both the storage variants are now available with a respective pricing of $299 and $349.

The Google Nexus 5X was introduced alongside Google Nexus 6P in October 2015. The Nexus 5X with 16 GB storage was launched for $379 whereas its 32 GB storage model was made available for $429.

Two weeks ago, the Nexus 5X price was slashed by $30 on Google Store. Now, the search engine giant has further reduced the price of Nexus 5X variants by $50. The 16 GB Nexus 5X is now listed for $299 whereas the 32 GB Nexus 5X is now available for $349 on Google Store, 9 to 5 Google reported. Other retailers like Amazon, Best Buy and B&H Photo are now offering the Nexus 5X variants with $80 discount.

An eBay seller, buydig is also selling the 16 GB and 32 GB Nexus 5X for $299 and $349, respectively along with a gift card $20 from Visa. The eBay seller that has a positive rating of 98.9 percent is offering free delivery service to its customers.

The LG Nexus 5X is an enhanced edition of the LG Nexus 5 smartphone that was launched in 2013. It is fitted with a 5.2-inch IPS LCD screen that carries support for full HD resolution. It delivers a pixel density of 423 ppi.

The Snapdragon 808 SoC is present inside Nexus 5X. It is coupled with 2 GB of RAM. Like the predecessor model, there is no expansion storage slot available on the device. It features rear and front cameras of 12.3-megapixel and 5-megapixel.

The Google Nexus 5X includes other features like USB Type-C, fingerprint scanner and a 2700 mAh capacity battery. It is available in color options like Carbon, Quartz and Ice.
