A reliable leaker has uploaded a photo showing what appears to be the Pixel 4 -- the successor to Google’s current flagship smartphones.

Google might’ve had released the Pixel 3a and Pixel 3a XL smartphones just recently, but the leaks about its devices just won’t stop coming. A new leak, coming via reputed leaker Slashleaks, shows a photo showing the upcoming Google Pixel 4 smartphone.

The leak actually came from Skinomi, a store that sells protective cases and screen protectors. The photo shows the alleged device and the “Techskin” Screen Protector. If the photo is anything to go by, it appears that the upcoming smartphone will feature an all-new look, Forbes noted.

What’s new?

While the photo doesn’t reveal anything but the front side of the phone, it does give away some features. First, the notch is gone as the two front cameras are placed in a hole punch located at the top-right side of the display. The indicators and icons will be located on the top-left side of the screen.

The top and bottom speakers are visible, as are the super-thin bezels on the top, sides and bottom of the smartphone. There appears to be one button located on the right-hand side of the phone as well, which is likely to be the lock/power button.

The Skinomi listing doesn’t give away any details about the Pixel 4. It doesn’t give away any measurements, and thus we don’t know how big the display really is. Nevertheless, this ad seems to confirm earlier leaks saying the Pixel 4 is coming soon.

Earlier leaks?

This current report serves as a follow up to a previous report from 9To5Google, which claimed to have found “evidence” that the Pixel 4 is in the works.

The report said that the Pixel 4 made its first appearance in the Android Open Source Project via a comment from one of Google’s employees. The comment said,

“The plan was to first deploy this on Pixel 3 and make sure that everything actually works. Then move on to Pixel 4 and so on. If I had a Pixel 4 device, I probably wouldn’t have bothered with 4.9 in the first place.”

The report explained that the employee was complaining about not having a Pixel 4 device on which a certain “fix” could be run, and saying that if he/she “had a Pixel 4 device,” he/she would’ve been done already.

Obviously, Google is working on the Pixel 4. Stay tuned for more updates.
