Google’s Santa Tracker has been a fun way for kids from around the world to keep track of Santa Claus during the holiday season.

For 12 years now, Google has created an interactive holiday experience that goes from the start of December until Christmas Eve. Every day, a new activity goes live in Santa’s Village along with a countdown to Santa’s big sleigh ride. This experience also includes games that teach basic coding skills, geography and different languages.

New activités for 2015 include customizable Snowflake Cards to share with friends and new games for the web called Penguin Dash, Reindeer Runner and Wrap Battle. An educator resource page also gives teach ideas and lesson plans.

On its website, Google said: 'For the first time, we're excited to introduce an educator resource page that easily allows teachers to find educational games and corresponding lesson plans all in one place.

"From games that introduce basic concepts of coding to global holiday traditions, Google's Santa Tracker encourages holiday learning experiences in a fun way."

The Android app integrates with Google Assistant - so you can ask Google Home “Where is Santa?”

The Santa Chrome extension makes it easy to see where exactly Santa Claus is this year. Just make sure to be nice until Christmas Eve, otherwise Santa won’t be coming down your chimney.

Starting Dec. 24, Google’s Santa Tracker will go live allowing Santa fans from around the world to see where his progress on desktop web, mobile web (Android/IOS), Android app, Android TV app and Chromecast, according to the Santa Tracker page.
