Grace Vanderwaal recently announced that the lyric video for her song, “Gossip Girl,” will be released this week.

On her Instagram account, the 12-year-old singer shared one of the images from the music video. The snap was of a jewelry box that had a young girl that looks exactly like her. Vanderwaal urged her millions of followers on the social media site to wait for the release of the lyric video because “Gossip Girl” is her favorite among the songs on her “Perfectly Imperfect” album. The EP contains four other songs that she performed live on “America’s Got Talent” Season 11: “I Don’t Know My Name,” “Light the Sky,” “Beautiful Thing” and “Clay.”

Meanwhile, it seems that the Suffern native will launch another original song in the coming months. Earlier this week, Vanderwaal shared that she was thinking of a song to perform during one of her live stream sessions when she came up with another original. The young talent shared that what started out as a joke turned out to be one song she believes should end up in her album.

Since winning “America’s Got Talent” Season 11, Vanderwaal has gone on to star in her own show in Las Vegas. The sold out concert took place for four consecutive nights. She has also performed on the “Ellen Show” a few weeks ago. Most recently, the singer sang “Light the Sky” on “Today” and appeared in the talk show last month. Last week, Vanderwaal wowed the crowd with her own rendition of the Christmas classic, “Frosty the Snowman,” which she performed in “America’s Got Talent Holiday Spectacular” on NBC.

“America’s Got Talent” Season 11 aired its finale episode in August.
