After an amazing start to the new year with her album “Manic,” Halsey has taken a shocking decision of taking a break from touring after the completion of the ongoing “Manic” tour. The musician is currently in the middle of an international tour and is gearing up for shows in Zurich.

Taking it to Instagram, the 25-year-old songstress shared some pictures from the ongoing tour and revealed that she will be taking a “long” break from touring after the conclusion of this tour and expressed her gratitude toward all the fans who turned up in large numbers and gave her a chance to make some special memories.

“I think 2020 will mark the end of touring for a very long time. Thank you for making the memories so special. I am cherishing every single night,” Halsey said.

The “Closer” hitmaker is currently riding high on the success of her latest album. The album debuted at number two on the Billboard 200 albums chart.

Last month, the singer sparked controversy when she called out out a fan for yelling G-Eazy’s name during her pre-Super Bowl performance in Miami. "If you say G-Eazy one more [expletive] time, I will kick you outside this building. You're not going to disrespect me like that at my own show," Halsey threatened the taunter.

Halsey later addressed the issue on her Instagram story, reminding women that it’s okay to stand up for themselves and not to take her kindness for weakness. Since then the “Nightmare” singer has also been spammed with G-Eazy comments under her recent Instagram posts. She responded to them by saying that she is seeing everything that is being said on her various posts and hopes that no one gets to experience an “abusive relationship.”

“I see you all in the comments. And I know you think you’re funny. Cause you’re at home on your iPhone and I’m not a real human being to you. I hope to God you never have to experience an abusive relationship. And if you do, I hope the world is kinder to you than you are to me,” Halsey said.

G-Eazy and Halsey split in 2018.
