The most magical time of year is quickly approaching, and Disney parks are preparing to officially kick off their holiday events, starting with the official lighting of the Cinderella Castle at Walt Disney World in Orlando, Florida. Luckily for those who want to witness the moment—but couldn't get tickets to the park for the event—there will be a way to watch the magic happen right from home.

The event, which signifies the official start of the Mickey's Very Merry Christmas Party, will take place on Nov. 9, and Disney is making sure that fans of the parks who have to sit at home will still be able to witness the magic via a live stream through their Disney Parks blog.

The lighting is in honor of the hit smash movie "Frozen," and is being called "A Frozen Holiday Wish." The show will feature Queen Elsa using her powers to present everyone in the kingdom with a gift, by transforming the Cinderella Castle into a glimmering ice palace. A live stream for the event will be available here, beginning at 8:10 p.m. EST.

Following the castle lighting, the Disney Parks will officially be kicking off the holiday season with a series of different events as a part of the Christmas Party. Special admission is required for the event, meaning those with park tickets have to also acquire admission for that as well.

In addition to viewing the lights and magical Christmas displays throughout the Disney parks, those with tickets to the event can have special moments with holiday characters, including Santa, Jack Skellington as Sandy Claws from "A Nightmare Before Christmas," and Scrooge McDuck. They can also view a special show called "Mickey's Most Merriest Celebration," as well as the annual Mickey's Once Upon A Christmastime Parade.

Park guests can also book special Holiday Wishes dessert packages as well as other seasonal dining events. In addition, there will also be complimentary treats available at select park locations, including pretzels, cookies, hot chocolate, sno-cones, chocolate and sparkling apple cider.
