Jennifer Lopez's ex-fiancé Alex Rodriguez is "happy" for her after learning that she and Ben Affleck are officially married, according to a report.

The former New York Yankees shortstop, who was engaged to Lopez before she reignited her romance with Affleck last year, has no hard feelings toward his former fiancée and wishes the newlyweds the best, an unnamed insider told Us Weekly Monday.

"He's happy for her and happy that she's with the person she's meant to be with," the source said of Rodriguez. "He's in a new relationship now and is happy as well. He's traveling all over and living his best life. He's really focused on family, his career and what he's got going on."

According to the source, the 46-year-old businessman "saw the news" of Lopez and Affleck tying the knot in Las Vegas Saturday and "went about his business." Apparently, he has completely moved on from his relationship with the "Let's Get Loud" singer.

"[His] relationship [with Jennifer] ended a while ago — he's made peace with how things ended," the insider told the outlet. "He respects her and truly wishes her nothing but the best."

Lopez and Rodriguez started dating in 2017 and got engaged two years later. They were supposed to tie the knot in 2020 but pushed back their big day due to the COVID-19 pandemic.

After being forced to cancel their wedding plans for the second time, the "Marry Me" actress admitted on SiriusXM's "Radio Andy" in December 2020 that the hurdles led her and Rodriguez to consider whether they needed to wed at all, reflecting on the nearly four-decade relationship between Goldie Hawn and Kurt Russell, who have never married.

At the time, Lopez said they had already finished planning their wedding, which was supposed to be held in Italy in June that year, when the pandemic accelerated.

In April 2021, she and Rodriguez announced that they had called off their engagement, saying, "We have realized we are better as friends and look forward to remaining so."

Shortly after their split, Lopez reunited with Affleck, to whom she was previously engaged from 2002 to 2004. After a year of dating, the "Justice League" actor proposed to Lopez for the second time in April.

The couple didn't share any wedding plans, so fans were surprised when Lopez confirmed that they got married in an intimate ceremony in Las Vegas Saturday.

An unnamed insider told Us Weekly that Affleck and Lopez "are so comfortable with each other and make each other so happy, so they don't want to wait any longer."

Meanwhile, Rodriguez has been romantically linked to fitness model Kathryn Padgett. They were spotted spending time together multiple times in the past months, though they have not yet confirmed their relationship.

"They haven't put a title on their relationship yet and aren't going around telling their friends they're official," an unnamed source told Us Weekly.
