Looking for a magical getaway this holiday season? Airbnb may have an overnight adventure that fits the bill with a stay at the world-renowned FAO Schwarz store.

The iconic toy store is inviting one lucky New York City family for an overnight stay at its flagship location in New York City.

But interested guests will have to act fast as bookings open at 12 p.m. EST on Dec. 15 for a stay on Monday, Dec. 21. Proof of New York residency is required, and guests must live in the same household. The cost of a stay at the FAO Schwarz toy store is only $25 a night.

Some of the perks that guests will get to experience during their FAO Schwarz Airbnb stay include 20,000 square feet of private access to the entire store. A real FAO Schwarz toy soldier will welcome the family that books the stay and will provide a socially-distanced tour of the two-story “wonderland” that has countless games, puzzles, and toys.

There will also be "wall-to-wall candy" in the dining area, along with a dinner and breakfast, served over the course of the two days. A toy train will also wind around the table as guests eat.

After meals, guests can unwind in the living room that is stacked with plush, life-sized stuffed animals, velvet sofas, and faux fur rugs backdropped by twinkling lights. There is also a Giant Dance On Piano, where there will be a music lesson, and a view of the 75-foot Christmas tree in Rockefeller Plaza.

When guests need a rest, they can head off to their sleigh bed. Children can slumber in a bunk bed that comes complete with a slide.

There will be an opportunity to build a plush toy and remote-controlled car, which can be raced down the aisles of the toy store. Professor Atlas will also be on hand to provide a guided science experiment.

Guests will also get a shopping credit to use in-store to pick out some toys to bring home with them when their stay is over.

Airbnb will make a one-time donation to St. Jude Children’s Research Hospital in support of FAO Schwarz as part of the booking promotion. The FAO Schwarz experience is not a contest.

FAO Schwarz said it is following the Centers for Disease Control and Prevention’s coronavirus guidelines to ensure guests are safe from the coronavirus during their stay.
