Although the coronavirus pandemic has caused millions of people across the nation to stay indoors, Camila Cabello and her boyfriend, Shawn Mendes, have become closer than ever.

Along with practicing social distancing from others, Cabello and Mendes have decided to learn from one another. On Wednesday, the “Romance” artist took to her Instagram Story to update fans on how she is spending her time while self-isolating.

Cabello posted a photo of herself holding a guitar. “Shawn is teaching me this, and I’m teaching him Spanish,” she wrote.

The 23-year-old went on to add, "In the words of dababy LETS GOOOO.”

News of Cabello’s new hobby comes after the singer postponed her upcoming “Romance” tour due to the pandemic. “I’m truly heartbroken to say that we've decided we need to postpone the tour,” she wrote.

“We can’t start rehearsals without putting people at risk and with so much up in the air with no real definitive end in sight, I feel this is the responsible thing to do,” she explained.

Cabello went on to thank fans and revealed that her top priority was to keep everyone around her safe. “Most importantly, I wanna say these are difficult, uncertain times right now, and I hope you guys are all keeping safe and both physically and mentally healthy,” she wrote.

“I miss and love you guys so so much. With all the news constantly coming out and so much that is really unknown, we’re also taking extreme precautions to protect ourselves, our team, our dancers, our band, our crew and ultimately you guys.”

Cabello then shared some encouraging words with those struggling amid the coronavirus pandemic. “When the danger passes, all this love that we are putting into the world will heal us. I love you so much,” she added.
