The New York Mets are going to the World Series after they swept the Chicago Cubs in Game 4 of the National League Championship Series Wednesday at Wrigley Field in Chicago. Fans (who are willing to pay) want to know how they can get tickets to see their team take on the Toronto Blue Jays or Kansas City Royals -- depending on who wins the American League Championship Series. Luckily, there is one easy answer.

Online ticket sites like StubHub, My City Rocks and Ticket City all have tickets available. World Series ticket prices at Citi Field, start at $672 for the bleacher seats and go for more than $3,500 for tickets behind home plate.

The first two games of the series will be played at the home of the American League champion, then the next three will take place at Citi Field in Flushing, Queens. Here's the lineup: Game 3 will be Friday, Oct. 30, Game 4 will be Saturday, Oct. 31 and Game 5 will be Sunday, Nov. 1. If there isn’t a Game 5, tickets will be refunded. And if there is going to be a Game 6 and Game 7, the teams will play in the American League ballpark.

For those who are thinking about getting tickets, don’t delay. Dedicated Mets fans have waited 15 years to see their team go to the World Series and will probably be willing to shell out the money to see them. Moreover, it’s only the fifth time that the Mets will be playing in the World Series in the franchise’s history, ESPN wrote.

Infielder Daniel Murphy of the Mets was named MVP of the National League Championship Series. He set a record Wednesday night when he hit a home run in a sixth consecutive postseason game as the Mets defeated the Cubs 8-3. Mets first baseman Lucas Duda also starred Wednesday, with five RBIs.
